Course Description:
The IGCSE Science curriculum provides a strong foundation in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, encouraging analytical thinking, experimental skills, and real-world applications. The course is designed for students aiming for A-Level studies or careers in STEM fields. Students can choose between Coordinated Science (Double Award) or separate sciences (IGCSE Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).
What You’ll Learn:
- Physics: Motion, forces, energy, waves, electricity, magnetism, and atomic physics.
- Chemistry: Atomic structure, chemical bonding, the periodic table, acids & bases, reaction rates, organic chemistry.
- Biology: Cell biology, enzymes, human & plant physiology, genetics, ecosystems, and evolution.
- Practical Skills: Conducting experiments, data collection & analysis, hypothesis testing.
- Assessment: Written exams, practical assessments (alternative to practical or coursework-based).
